Out-of-control drone causes chaos during Orlando Christmas show injuring young boy
A seven-year-old boy needed surgery after multiple drones at a holiday show in Orlando, Florida, unexpectedly fell from the sky.

Disaster struck at the holiday drone show at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando (Florida) with a second show scheduled for Sunday canceled after multiple drones crashed into each other before falling to the ground.
Videos shared by spectators attending the event showed the drones flying in synchronization initially forming a series of Christmas related images in the sky such as Santa Claus figures and festive gifts.
So apparently they had to cancel the 2nd drone show at #LakeEolaPark tonight and I wonder if the drones that got knocked out during the 1st show was the cause 😬 #Orlando pic.twitter.com/xxySjbkohy

The online videos show the drones suddenly starting to fall with children innocently asking ‘are they supposed to be falling’.
A seven-year-old boy was hit by one of the falling drones and was immediately rushed to a local hospital in reports confirmed by Orlando Fire Department.
Such was the impact on the young boy that he required heart surgery to correct a damaged valve.
