What do we know about what happened to Princess Anne?

Buckingham Palace did not detail the exact nature of the incident which resulted in Princess Anne being hospitalized but reporting suggests that it could have been from an impact with a horse’s head or legs. The second child of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip is an avid equestrian. In 1976, she became the first member of the Royal Family to compete in the Olympics which took place in Montreal that year.
