A new report from NME shows that Liam Payne may have donated thousands of dollars to GoFundMe drives in the month before his death. Payne had expressed his interest in donating to these campaigns, as he often saw himself reflected in cases where parents asked for support for their children. He understood that his life could have gone differently, and it could have been him asking strangers for support.
On one night, he is thought to have donated around $10,000 to various drives.
One Direction Songwriter speaks out
Julian Bulian, a songwriter who worked with One Direction, on songs including "Fireproof" and "Midnight Memories" took to Instagram to express his feelings in light of Liam's untimely and tragic death.
"We wrote songs that changed my life. He believed in me. He encouraged and empowered me. He helped make my dreams come true," said Julian. For the songwriter, there are no words that can "accurately express the way [he felt] about [Liam].

Former One Direction member Zayn Malik has announced that his tour will be postponed until January due to the death of Liam Payne this week.
