Ross stores are closing their doors, find out which stores are closing and when the liquidation of their products begins
Ross stores are gearing up to liquidate 2024 stock to make room for the new season of apparel, but there are some stores that won’t be open by then.
A new year is here and that means “out with the old and in with the new,” at Ross Dress for Less stores. But in order to make space, the discount apparel chain will be slashing prices on 2024 items soon to entice shoppers to help clear their racks.
While the ‘Year-End Cleareance Sale’ is already on, soon customers may be able to find items for as low as 49 cents when the liquidation is scheduled to take place according to a leaked calendar. Unfortunately, there are two stores that won’t be around for when it is set to kick off.
On Friday, two Dress for Less locations at the Fort Street Mall and Keaaumoku on Oahu, Hawaii will be closing their doors for good. However, there are still over 2,100 locations, almost 90 of which opened this year, where you can hunt for deals in just a couple of weeks.
When Ross Dress for Less liquidation starts
According to The Krazy Coupon Lady, a store calendar was leaked which stated that the annual liquidation of stock will begin Monday, January 27. Some items will be priced as low as 49 cents, but you have to get in the treasure hunter frame of mind as there won’t be a lot of them.
These will mostly be on items from 2024 that Ross wants out the door at all cost, or almost no cost in this case to you. All liquidation items will be marked with a pink price sticker, but they may have prices that are more than 49 cents, but still drastically marked down.
Be prepared for crowds, so get to stores early. Keep in mind that not all stores have the same stock. You may want to consider finding the stores that are less frequented to have a better opportunity at finding real steals during the liquidation sale.
