Florida SNAP benefits: November 2023 EBT card payment dates
Find out the exact dates on which SNAP benefits are deposited on EBT cards in Florida in November 2023.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is the United States’ largest federal food-stamp scheme. Every month, SNAP beneficiaries receive money on a debit card known as an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card, which they can use to buy groceries at participating stores.
SNAP benefits are issued to recipients in coordination with each state’s administration, so the exact schedule for sending out payments varies throughout the country.
When are payments deposited in Florida in November 2023?
In Florida, the Department of Children and Families’ Office of Economic Self Sufficiency (ESS) is responsible for depositing SNAP benefits.
The ESS staggers payments between the 1st and the 28th of each month, with the date on which claimants receive their money on their EBT card determined by the ‘case number’ they are assigned when they sign up for the SNAP scheme.
The ninth and eighth digit in the case number are combined, in that order, to create a two-digit number that decides which payment group a beneficiary is placed into.
For example, if the ninth and eighth digits of your case number are nine and eight, respectively, they will be put together to make 98. According to the SNAP payment schedule, which is below, you would get your benefits on the 28th.
Where can I find my SNAP case number?
You’ll find your case number on your SNAP benefits approval letter, which the Department of Children and Families sends to claimants to confirm that they are successfully registered for the scheme.
What time are SNAP benefits deposited?
SNAP payments will normally be deposited on your EBT card by 6am on your payment date.
