Spotify Wrapped 2023 release date: When will the summary of the most listened songs be available?

Spotify is getting ready for the release of its annual roundup of listening habits, Wrapped 2023, and it could come any day now. So far, we only know that it is “Coming Soon” according to the banner it posted on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. However, if we go by the past three releases, it could be a soon as Wednesday 29 November.

Preparing for what it says is “the biggest fan moment of the year,” the music streaming service has provided artists with “a complete checklist of actions” they can take already to prepare. Those include uploading a short video message, offering discounts on merch, highlighting upcoming shows and making sure their profile is ready.

Hype around the event may even be responsible for the Spotify web player experiencing outages as users await Wrapped 2023.

The music streaming service has over the past three years released Wrapped on the Wednesday after Thanksgiving. So, should Spotify do the same this year, that would mean you’ll be able to get your personalized summary on 29 November.

That is unless they decide to switch things up this year and push the release date back reverting to where it was before 2021. But you still won’t have to wait long, as between 2018 and 2020 Spotify made Wrapped available on the first Thursday of December.

What features will be available for Wrapped 2023?

Earlier this year Spotify confirmed that the Wrapped feature will include data from January 1 through October 31. However, the music streaming platform has been mum on whether or not there will be any new special features included.

But we can most likely expect Wrapped 2023 to reveal to you which artist you listened to the most over the past 10 months and your Top 5 most played songs and genres, as well as how many minutes you had the app playing music.
