The fall season unofficially gets underway with the return of Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte along with the rest of its fall menu lineup. The company announced that starting Thursday August 22, fans of the Seattle-based coffee house’s seasonal beverages will be able to satiate their craving at stores nationwide.

The PSL, the most popular seasonal beverage introduced over two decades ago, will be joined by other customer favorites as well as some new items, one which was inspired by a popular customer customization. Here’s a look at this year’s fall menu at Starbucks.

The star of the season is the Pumpkin Spice Latte, which came out of Starbucks’ “Liquid Lab” in 2003 and quickly grew a loyal following. Its popularity has spurred the coffee chain’s competitors to follow suit and spread the use of a combination of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove into all sorts of products beyond just food and drinks.

Starbucks announced that it will be adding Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai as a new flavor this year. A sip of the all-new beverage will remind customers of homemade apple pie with its “warming spice flavors of chai combined with creamy oat milk and topped with nondairy apple crisp cold foam,” says the coffee chain.

The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is returning once again this year. The fall menu beverage is crafted with Starbucks cold brew sweetened with vanilla syrup, topped with pumpkin cream cold foam that is sprinkled with a pumpkin spice topping.

The Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai is back for a second year. Like Starbucks’ newest flavor, this beverage was inspired by customers as well as baristas. “This creamy fall beverage pairs a rich blend of spiced chai notes with pumpkin cream cold foam and a pumpkin spice topping,” says the coffee chain.

The Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato is back for yet another fall season, first introduced in 2021. This beverage, which is available hot or iced, features layers of flavors including apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar combined with rich espresso poured over creamy oat milk. It is then topped with a lattice of spiced apple drizzle.

The Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso will also be available for a limited time for those looking for a “seasonal sip that is full of flavor.” The beverage is a combination of blonde espresso with notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar that is shaken together before being topped with oat milk.

Furthermore this fall, Starbucks is offering customers two drinks exclusively through its Starbucks app, the Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte and the Iced Honey Apple Almondmilk.

The latte is made with espresso combined with milk and notes of apple, cinnamon and brown sugar. It is served over ice and topped with smooth salted caramel cream cold foam. The other is made with blonde espresso and almond milk which is poured over ice with a hint of honey and nondairy apple crisp cold foam.

Starbucks’ fall menu bakery items

Joining Starbucks’ fall menu this year is the Raccoon Cake Pop. This new treat combines vanilla cake and buttercream and is dipped in chocolaty icing. It will be available for a limited time and while supplies last. Returning this year are the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Baked Apple Croissant and Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf which the coffee chain says “are also perfect fall food pairings.”
