Taco Bell announces new $7 combo meal: what menu items does it include?

Taco Bell is following in the footsteps of McDonald’s and Burger King creating a discounted meal for customers. The Mexican-inspired food chain has announced a new meal deal, a $7 meal combo with five items.

The new $7 Luxe Cravings Box arrived on Thursday at Taco Bell restaurants nationwide and will be available for a limited time only.

The combo includes a Chalupa Supreme, a Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, a Double Stacked Taco, chips and cheese sauce, as well as a medium drink.

Taco Bell Chief Marketing Officer Taylor Montgomery noted that these are “full-size menu items.”

For its part, the famous fast food restaurant chain, McDonald's, announced a $5 Meal Deal, as well as free fries Friday and exclusive promotions in certain parts of the country.

“We are focused on living up to that legacy and offering delicious, affordable options that customers can enjoy every time they cross our doors, stop by our Drive Thru or place an order through our app,” Joe Erlinger, president of McDonald’s USA, said in a statement.

The highly anticipated $5 meal deal went into effect on June 25 and will be available for a limited time at participating McDonald's restaurants nationwide. The meal combo includes:

The company also announced 'Free Fries Friday' every Friday nationwide, exclusively on the McDonald's app. Customers can get free medium fries with any $1 minimum purchase through the end of 2024.

On the other hand, in honor of National French Fry Day, on Saturday, July 13, fans will be able to get free fries of any size, with no purchase required.

If that’s not enough, franchisees in communities across the United States will also offer local deals at their neighborhood McDonald’s. The company also offers discounts on the McDonald’s app, where you can earn MyMcDonald’s Rewards points, for ever $1 spent you get 100 reward points.
