Taco Bell could be the next fast food restaurant to try to compete with Starbucks

The fast food chain joins McDonald’s in a new push into the ever-burgeoning coffe market with a selection of new products.

Two southern Californian Taco Bells will be the proving grounds for new milkshakes and iced coffees. 15 December is the launch day for the Coffee and Churros Chillers at the Mission Viejo restaurant and the Irvine restaurant.

“We’re always pushing the boundaries to deliver bold and craveable Mexican-inspired flavors our fans have come to expect from us and these frozen drinks showcase how far our innovation goes,” CMO Taylor Montgomery said in a statement.

“We are constantly listening to what our fans are craving next, and we are thrilled to offer them a frozen creation that’s just as delicious and desirable as their favorite menu item.”

They are both served in a 16-ounce cup.

Which flavours are available?
