Target’s new “Dealworthy” brand: What kind of products does it include and prices
What is the deal with Target’s ‘Dealworthy’ brand? Can it really help you save money? We took a look at these questions and more...
Target has launched a new brand to help customers save money. ‘Dealworthy’ was announced earlier this week and will include over 400 products that cover “apparel, accessories, essentials and beauty, electronics and home items.” The brand will not replace ‘Up and Up’ but rather expand on the generic offerings for customers.
How much will customers save?
The company has announced that it will offer most of its products at less than $10. The idea is to show customers how much they can save by choosing the generic option. This decision comes because the company once considered an affordable option for consumers, has seen an increase in prices. The savings customers can expect will only be clear once the products are available on store shelves.
Expanding Up and Up
Target also recently announced that it would be expanding its ‘Up and Up’ brand. The expansion will include improvements to generic products and toothbrushes. According to a press release issued on 12 February, the company has changed the shape and feel of both its manual and replaceable-head toothbrushes to improve the brushing experience and help the toothbrushes last longer.
In addition to this, the food storage containers offered under the ‘Up and Up’ brand will be improved to make them more durable and long-lasting. The company has also developed new scents for baby, household cleaning, bath & body, soap, and pet products. These scents are just right for each product and will enhance the customer experience.
Once all the updates have been made to the ‘Up and Up’ brand, it will include more than 2,000 products, many of which are daily household essentials. This expansion will help customers save money. For instance, a pack of 500 cotton swabs costs $3.89 for the name brand and $2.19 for the ‘Up and Up’ brand, helping customers save considerable money.
