Tension with Russia: Elon Musk disables Putin ally’s Cybertruck and unleashes country’s fury
Chechen Republic leader Ramzan Kadyrov is a long standing ally of Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Kadyrov is the head of the Chechen Republic and was appointed to this position by Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2007, following the assassination of his father, Akhmad Kadyrov.
His rule over Chechnya has been described as authoritarian, and human rights groups have accused his authorities of numerous abuses, including torture and extrajudicial killings.
The 48-year-old has positioned himself as a key figure in Russia’s relations with the Muslim world and has supported Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
Recently, however a new enemy has emerged and it’s the unlikely figure of Elon Musk (head of DOGE and president of , Tesla, Space X and X).
‘Unmanly Musk’
Kadyrov took to Telegram and alleged that his Cybertruck (made by Tesla) was “remotely disabled” by Elon Musk.

“Elon Musk behaved badly. He gives expensive gifts from the heart, and then turns them off remotely,” Kadyrov wrote in the post.
That’s not manly. How could you do that, Elon?"

In the past the Chechen leader has hinted that the Cybertruck was a gift from Musk himself. “We received a Tesla Cybertruck from the esteemed Elon Musk. I was pleased to test this new technology and personally witnessed why it’s rightfully called the ‘Cyberbeast,” claimed Kadyrov but Musk himself stated that this ‘gift claim’ is not true.
