Celes, a Singapore-based tattoo artist, has gone viral after posting a micro-tattoo of a paw print. Many followers in her area have since reached out to book appointments for their own tiny tats.

In a post on Instagram, Celes celebrated the fact that her video on the mini paw tattoo had garnered over 3 million likes. “It makes me so happy that something so small and cute is spreading joy,” wrote the artist.

How much does she charge?

Celes told PEOPLE Magazine that she typically charges customers around $46 US dollars for one mini paw, with the price decreasing slightly the more freckle tats her client wants to get. That may seem like a high cost for such a little design, but the artist says she still takes her time. “For freckles as tiny as 0.3cm, it takes me around 30 seconds to freehand the placement, and about 2 to 5 minutes to tattoo them using brown ink. They’re small, but I still take my time to make sure they sit nicely on the skin,” reported Celes when asked about her pricing logic.

For many who saw the video—which has now racked up over 40 million views—the size of the tattoo serves as a gentle introduction to the world of ink. Though Celes’ clients usually seek her out for her microrealistic color work, she says she’s found herself in this niche thanks to the viral video and is thrilled to see the trend she helped spark gaining traction.
