The Mandalorian: How many episodes will season 3 have? When do they air on Disney+?

Season 3 of The Mandalorian kicks off 1 March and will take viewers to new parts of the galaxy as Din Djarin and Grogu continue their journey together.

Din Djarin, “Mando,” and Grogu are back together again for Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian’. The third season kicks off Wednesday 1 March and will pick up where another Star Wars spin-off ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ left off. So if you’ve been following the popular Disney+ show but haven’t seen the Boba Fett centered show, you’ll want to do some catch-up viewing.

How many episodes will season 3 have and when do they drop on Disney+?

Like the two previous seasons, the third season of ‘The Mandalorian’ will consist of eight episodes. The first episode will drop Wednesday 1 March with subsequent episodes released on a weekly basis. Each episode will be available at 12 am Pacific Time, 3 am East Coast Time. The Season 3 finale is scheduled to air on 19 April 2023.

What is the plot of ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3?

While in the second season, Mando (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu were separated, at the end of ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ the two are reunited on Tatooine. From what we can gather from the trailer, see below, Djarin will teach his charge in the Mandalorian ways as they continue their journey together through the Star Wars galaxy.

Along the way “the Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together,” according to the show’s synopsis. “Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history.”

Who will be in ‘The Mandalorian’ Season 3?

Returning for Season 3 of ‘The Mandalorian beside Pedro Pascal are Giancarlo Esposito, Katee Sackhoff, Amy Sedaris, Emily Swallow and Carl Weathers. However, one of the fan favorites of the Star Wars show Gina Carano, who reprised the role of Cara Dune, will not be part of the show anymore. She was fired from Lucasfilm in 2021 after posting controversial remarks on social media.
