The dog days of summer are behind us and as the cooler weather of fall sets in pumpkin spice is in the air. Fans of this autumnal aroma will be pleased to hear that Trader Joe’s has brought back one of customers’ seasonal favorites, Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake.
But you had better be quick if you want to get your hands on one, as they’re sure to fly off the shelves and will only be available for a limited time.
18 ounces of decadency
Trader Joe’s “highly enjoyable” Pumpkin Spice Mini Sheet Cake is described as being “fluffy and super moist” by Brand Eating with a decadent cream-cheese frosting that is “thick and smooth with a rich, creamy flavor and moderate sweetness.” The cake is made with “pumpkin purée and warm spices, including cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger,” states Trader Joe’s.
This year, the 18-oz cake will cost you a little more than last year but won’t break the bank, priced at $5.99 compared to $5.49 last year.
It comes in a container with a reclosable lid and doesn’t require refrigeration. That means that you can store it on the counter, giving those who like to sneak a bite when they pass through the kitchen, quick and easy access.
