Beer is one of the oldest beverages, and the most widely consumed alcoholic drink in the United States. According to World Population Review, the U.S. is one of the top imbibers of beer in the world, second only to China.
The beverage was valued at $768.55 billion in 2022 in the global market and is expected to reach $996.49 billion by 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 3.3% during the forecast period, according to data reported by Vantage Market Research.
Per the report, the beer market is growing due to the increase in disposable income, the growing popularity of craft breweries, and the rising number of social drinkers, among other factors. Low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer are also experiencing a surge in consumption, as younger segments of the market try to live a healthier lifestyle.
