1865 Newfoundland Victoria Gold Specimen: As the first $2 coin minted for the Newfoundland colony, this specimen features a matte finish on Queen Victoria’s portrait. Top-condition examples have sold for nearly $23,000.

1881 Newfoundland Victoria Gold: Due to its limited mintage, this coin is highly prized. One sold for $11,400 in 2019.
