In recent months, several restaurants and fast food chains have announced the launch of value-priced menus with the aim of attracting more customers and providing a break for their consumers’ pockets. The latest companies to join the initiative are IHOP and Denny’s.

Starting this Wednesday, IHOP will be offering unlimited pancakes for just $5. The promotion will run for just over a month, until September 15, designed to coincide with the back-to-school season, which is the time when “wallets take a hit from shopping,” the company argued in a statement.

For its part, Denny’s will offer various food options starting at $2 dollars through its already famous $2-$4-$6-$8 menu. The last time the company implemented this promotion was in 2020 to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Unlike that time, the company will add an additional $10 category to increase customer traffic.

“It’s a unique value that only we have,” said Kelli Valade, CEO and president of Denny’s. “We’re thrilled to bring back this consumer-friendly traffic-generating platform based on extensive testing and re-engineering.”
