Conservative media big wig Kimberly Guilfoyle has been appointed by President-elect Donald Trump as the next U.S. ambassador to Greece. She is recently enagaged to his son, Donald Trump Jr..
“For many years, Kimberly has been a close friend and ally,” Trump wrote on social media Tuesday. “Her extensive experience and leadership in law, media, and politics along with her sharp intellect make her supremely qualified to represent the United States, and safeguard its interests abroad.”
Guilfoyle, 55, has a varied background that includes serving as a prosecutor in California and a long tenure at Fox News.

Guilfoyle graduated from the University of California, Davis, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 1994. She began her career as an assistant district attorney in San Francisco and later in Los Angeles.
She joined Fox in 2006, co-hosting The Five and was known for her outspoken conservative views. She remained with the network until 2018, when she left amid allegations of sexual harassment against her.
Her political journey has been closely tied to the Trump family; she has been an outspoken supporter of Trump’s policies and actively campaigned for him during both the 2020 and 2024 elections, like many of Trump’s appointees.
In a statement following her nomination, Guilfoyle expressed her honor at being chosen for the role, stating, “As ambassador, I look forward to delivering on the Trump agenda, supporting our Greek allies, and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity”.
