Thousands of meat products sold in Walmart and Target recalled for listeria concerns: list of affected products
Nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry products have been recalled after the USDA’s routine testing identified listeria.
Listeria outbreaks have led to various recalls over the last few months, and now, another impacting products sold at Target and Walmart are being pulled from store shelves. Additionally, those who may have purchased the contained meats are being warned that they should make sure not to eat anything covered by the recall.
The recall covers nearly 10 million pounds of meat and poultry produced between June 19, 2024, to October 8, 2024. The products were packaged and distributed by BrucePac, but were available at various national retailers. To assist households, the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) publishes all of the packages the products came in.

The contaminated products have been sent all over the country, and the USDA advises that consumers check the packaging before consuming.
As of October 11, no illnesses had been reported as a part of the recall, which was discovered by the USDA while performing “routine product testing of finished product containing RTE poultry products produced by BrucePac and confirmed those products positive for Listeria monocytogenes.”
