Three siblings, four babies, and just one day: the marathon birth that turned a family into world news

For some divine and unfathomable reason, nature knocked on the doors of three brothers at nearly the exact same time, on the same day, and in the same way. Within just a few hours of one another, their wives went into labor and brought four babies into the world. The extraordinary event, which took place in Bnei Brak, Israel, is yet another reminder of fate’s unpredictable nature.

The three brothers became fathers almost simultaneously. Two had one child each, while the third welcomed twins. One can only imagine the experience of the grandparents, who are always overjoyed by the arrival of a new grandchild, yet in this case were left wondering how to contain the happiness brought by four new grandchildren at once.

“This allowed us to pause, smile, and rediscover the magic that we experience here every day. In our delivery room, even an ordinary day can turn into an unforgettable story,” said Ma’ayanei Hayeshua Hospital, as reported by Israel National News.

“No statistic could have prepared us for a moment this special,” the hospital added, expressing its joy at welcoming all the babies on the same day and in excellent health.

The hospital is located in the heart of the ultra-Orthodox city of Bnei Brak and records a high number of births each year. According to the Israel Democracy Institute, ultra Orthodox women in the country had an average of 6.4 children between 2020 and 2022. Other Jewish women in Israel had an average of 2.5 children.
