Donald Trump is on his way back to Florida after making his scheduled court appearance for four charges surroudning his disputing of the 2020 presidential election. He pleaded not guilty.

“This is a very sad day for America, and it was also very sad driving through Washington DC and seeing the filth and decay,” he told journalists before boarding his jet.

Alongside the ring leader, the federal indictment also noted six other conspirators.

Rudy Giuliani

Giuliani served as the Mayor of New York City from 1994 to 2001 before becoming an advisor to former President Donald Trump during his administration.

He was also Trump’s personal attorney and played a significant role in various legal matters, including the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and the subsequent impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

John Eastman

Eastman gained significant attention during the 2020 presidential election, serving as one of the attorneys representing then-President Donald Trump’s campaign.

He was involved in legal challenges to the election results in various states, alleging widespread voter fraud. However, these legal challenges were unsuccessful and the election results were confirmed by multiple courts and authorities.

Sidney Powell

Powell is an American attorney and former federal prosecutor. She alleged that voting machines and software were manipulated to switch votes from Donald Trump to Joe Biden during the 2020 presidential election.

Powell also faced several defamation lawsuits from Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic, two election technology companies, over her false claims regarding their involvement in election fraud

Jeffrey Clark

Clark served as the Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division in the Department of Justice (DOJ) during the last weeks of the Trump administration.

In January 2021, The New York Times reported that Clark had been involved in a plan to use the DOJ’s power to cast doubt on the results of the 2020 election and potentially overturn the election results in favor of then-President Donald Trump.

Kenneth Chesebro

Chesebro is the least well known of the bunch, those names that are known anyway. The indictment references an “email memorandum” that Co-Conspirator 5 “sent” to Giuliani on 13 December, 2020, an email that was made public by the House select committee that investigated 6 January.

His LinkedIn has him listed as an attorney.

???

The indictment says the final person is “a political consultant who helped implement a plan to submit fraudulent slates of presidential electors to obstruct the certification proceeding.”
