Trump predicts World War 3, says he is the only one who can prevent it
Former U.S. President Donald Trump is making a bid to return to the White House in 2024. He says he is the only one who can prevent a third world war.
The race for the 2024 United States presidential election is taking shape and former President Donald Trump is on the campaign trail in his bid to return to the White House. The candidate, who aspires to lead the Republican Party in next year’s elections, gave a speech in the town of Davenport in Iowa, where he highlighted the war in Ukraine.
At the campaign rally, Trump predicted a Third World War if he does not return to the White House. “I am the only candidate who can make this promise: I will prevent World War Three, because I really believe we’re going to have World War Three.” The Republican leader has accused President Joe Biden of leading the country into a nuclear war that could possibly end the world.
A ‘most dangerous time’ for the world
Trump has described the current geopolitical situation as the “most dangerous time” for the U.S. and the world and said that President Biden has “driven Russia right into the arms of China”. He said that the nation was facing an extremely difficult period, stating that Americans were “in an epic struggle to rescue our country from the people who hate it and want to absolutely destroy it.

Before an enthusiastic audience, Trump shouted to the crowd that with him in power, the war would end quickly, claiming to have a good relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Shortly after I win the presidency, I will have the disastrous war between Russia and Ukraine settled,” Trump said according to Newsweek. “It will take 24 hours, if it is not done before then.”
Trump’s speech at the campaign event in Davenport lasted around 100 minutes.
