Trump tariffs as they happend

Here are tariffs we know so far.
Reciprocal tariff explained
Trump says his team have worked out an average equivalent tariff charged by each country on all goods, including currency manipulation, and the US will then charge half of that tariff to that country. So China is estimated to have an average tariff of 67% and the US will therefore charge a 34% tariff on the import of Chinese goods.
It will be interesting to see if we ever get the analysis that went into calculating this average tariff.
Trump confirms that there will be a 25% tariff on all auto products brought into the US.

Trump says his tariffs will "usher in a golden age" for America, despite most economists warning of the dangers of such tariffs.
