Donald Trump says there will be no second debate with Kamala Harris. Less than two months before the general election and days after the first meeting between the two presidential candidates, the former president has adamantly stated he will not have a new televised discussion with his opponent.

According to Trump’s post on his social media platform, Truth Social, a second debate with Harris is no longer necessary since, according to him, he has won the previous encounter.

“When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are ‘I WANT A REMATCH,’” Trump wrote.

“Polls clearly show that I won the Debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats’ Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate.”

Trump added that Harris and President Joe Biden have done nothing but “destroy the country” and emphasized that the vice president refused to appear at a debate on Fox News, NBC and CBS. He ends his post with an emphatic “THERE WILL BE NO THIRD DEBATE!”

Polls and pundits agree Kamala Harris outperformed Donald Trump

Despite Trump’s claims that he won the debate, initial polls by various media outlets indicated majority of voters thought the vice president delivered the better performance. Political pundits say Harris was able to effectively attack the former president, who was often on the defensive.

One of the most remarkable moments of the debate was when Trump insisted on debunked claims that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were eating the pets of residents.

Other highlights included his insistence that his rallies are well-attended, that he won the 2020 election, and that he had “concepts” of a plan for health care.
