ONLYFANS
Two teachers from same high school with OnlyFans accounts are placed on leave
Megan Gaither deleted her Only Fans page after Brianna Coppage was suspended but believes she has been also been found out.
Brianna Coppage, an English teacher at St. Clair High School in Saint. Clair, Missouri, was placed on leave at the start of October after it was discovered she had been earning almost 25 times her salary on internet subscription service OnlyFans, used mainly by sex workers who produce pornography. Now, Mega Gaither, a teacher at the same school, has also been suspended for what she believes is the very same reason.
Coppage claims to have made $1 million from Only Fans
Coppage hit the headlines across the United States after resigning from her teaching post following the discovery. The 28-year-old earned $42,000 per year as a teacher but claims she made almost $1 million from the online site in less than six months.
Gaither set up her account under a different name in May and started posted in June, never showing her face, but immediately deleted it after her co-worker was found out. She was suspended by the school at the end of October for what she has been told is “something technically completely unrelated” but believes OnlyFans is the real reason.
Gaither’s OnlyFans regret despite huge earnings
“I know what it looks like,” she said. “I know it doesn’t look good. But, I truly did not want this. In a heartbeat, I would give it all up. I would give every penny back. I would go back to the beginning of summer and I wouldn’t have joined OnlyFans because I love my job and I love teaching so much.”
Gaither says she began posting adult content online to help her pay her student loan debut, which amounted to $126,000. As well as teaching as St Clair’s High School, she also worked as cheerleading coach, earning a salary of $47,000 in her “everyday” job.
After being put on leave, Gaither started a new OnlyFans account under her own name and claims to have made $65,000 in the first two weeks.
