Polling from North Carolina and Wisconsin shows Trump with a slight lead
Though his lead is still within the margin of error, Emerson College Polling has found that the former president leads in these two critical swing states. With nearly a week left until Election Day, both campaigns will focus on these states, as well as Michigan and Pennsylvania. Either candidate must win a plurality of these states to reach the 270 electoral college voters needed to win the election.

Absentee voting in the United States allows voters to cast their ballots without being physically present at their designated polling places. This method primarily benefits those who are away from home on Election Day.
Voters must typically register and request an absentee ballot through their state’s election office. Most states require a reason to allow absentee voting, but these rules are different for each state. Read more.
Donald Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden
Donald Trump, who considers himself a "New York guy," held a rally in Madison Square Garden on Sunday. The racist and offensive rhetoric used during the event has led many to compare it to a rally hosted by the American Nazi Party in 1939 in the same venue.
One of the speakers made an anti-Palestinian and anti-Semitic joke that received laughter from the audience. Another called the US territory, or as some scholars have argued, the colony of Puerto Rico, a "floating island of garbage." Puerto Rican celebrities have come out strongly against the Trump campaign since, calling on their community to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.
The racism kept pouring out of Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in NYC
Keep an eye on this New York Trump rally as the speakers are coming out with some truly crazy statements for a political rally. The latest comes from former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson.
The replies on Twitter were not pleased.
"It’s astonishing to see a Presidential campaign resort to this much hate. Just repulsive." said one.
Another: "Did they tell all the speakers at the MAGA neo-Nazi rally to go out and be as racist and hateful as possible? Just hammer the point home that you’re only welcome in America if you’re a white straight man or you bow down to the white straight man. This is disguting to watch!"
"What a hateful rally." said a third.

What Donald Trump said at his NYC rally
We're running against something far bigger than Joe or common and far more powerful than them, which is a massive, vicious, crooked, radical left machine that runs today's Democrat Party... I say 'the enemy from within', and the other side goes crazy,'Oh, how could he say that?' You know, they've done very bad things to this country. They are indeed the enemy from within.
Why discussing an "enemy from within" is so dangerous
The concept of an "internal enemy" has historically been used by authoritarian regimes to justify oppression and violence against dissenting groups. This type of language echoes tactics used by fascist leaders to consolidate power and suppress opposition.
The "enemy from within" concept often intersects with antisemitic conspiracy theories. These may include notions of Jewish control over media, banks, or governments. Such theories paint Jews as a hidden force manipulating society from within
