Valentine’s Day is just around the corner: Where to buy heart-shaped pasta for less than $3
Valentine’s Day is just weeks away, and if you’re looking for a cheap but tasty and romantic meal to celebrate, Trader Joe’s is offering heart-shaped pasta.
It’s nearly that time of year again, when what is believed to be the most romantic day of the year is to be celebrated. More than half of adults in the US observe Valentine’s Day- the day when children send cards and candy and grownups give flowers or presents and go on romantic dates.
If you’re one of those people who want to mark the day by celebrating a meal with your loved ones, but are also tired of all the spending that this holiday usually entails, you might want to check out the nearest Trader Joe’s.
The grocery store chain has brought back its low-priced Italian Artisan Heart-Shaped Pasta for the occasion.
Trader Joe’s fan @traderjoeslist posted a photo of the $2.49 bag of pasta and announced its return to the store’s shelves on Instagram.

‘Love letters to your taste buds’
“Love is in the air, and on our plates! Say “Ciao!” to the return of Trader Joe’s seasonal Italian Artisan Heart Shaped Pasta,” the account said.
“These delightful little hearts aren’t just charming; they’re a flavor festa, too! Crafted with love by Italian artisans, each pasta piece is a testament to the season of amore. Perfectly al dente, they’re like little love letters to your taste buds,” raved the post.
The creator offered her recommendations on what would complete the meal- she suggested trying Alfredo sauce, arrabbiata, or pesto to round out your Valentine feast.
Not everyone can buy Trader Joe’s heart-shaped pasta just yet
However, it appears that the heart-shaped pasta is not available at all Trader Joe’s locations. Comments made on @traderjoeslist’s post complain that people have not been able to find them at their local store.
By their account, some outlets have said that they are not offering the pasta yet as it is too early to be selling Valentine’s Day products.
Eager pasta-loving romantics will just have to wait.
