VIDEO: Biden falls on stage, but is “fine”

President Joe Biden tripped and fell on some sandbags at a U.S. Air Force graduation ceremony on Thursday, but White House aid says he’s “fine”.

President Joe Biden fell on stage at a U.S. Air Force graduation ceremony on Thursday in Colorado. He shook the hands of more than 900 graduates and on his way back to his seat, he tripped over some sandbags on stage and fell down.

The 80-year-old president of the United States was helped up by two Secret Service members and an Air Force official and was able to get back to his seat without any help. The White House communications director wrote on Twitter that Biden is fine.

Indeed, as the ceremony came to an end, Biden was seen chatting and taking photos, doing just fine on his feet. He returned to Washington that evening with a smile on his face, according to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.
