Walgreens announces price cuts on 1,300 items: These products will be cheaper
In order to provide relief to its customers’ pockets, Walgreens announces a price reduction on nearly 1,300 items. Here the details.
Walgreens joins the list of retailers announcing price cuts in the summer. The main objective of the measure is to provide relief to its clients who, in recent months, have suffered the ravages of inflation.
“Walgreens understands our customers are under financial strain and struggle to purchase everyday essentials,” said Tracey D. Brown, EVP, President, Walgreens Retail & Chief Customer Officer. “We continue to be committed to our customers by lowering prices on over a thousand additional items, something we’ve been doing since October of 2023.”
This price reduction initiative is part of a broader trend among major retailers like Target, Walmart, and Amazon, who are also cutting prices to provide relief to consumers amidst rising prices and economic challenges
