What are the odds? This woman’s 4 kids all share a birthday

The third time’s the charm they say, but in this case, it was the unimaginable. Nauzhae Drake gave birth to her fourth child recently welcoming Kailowa into the world on 7 July.

The stunning thing is that he will share the same birthdate as his three siblings who were all born in different years. Khalan was born in 2022, Na’Zaiyla in 2021 and Kewan in 2019.

“After welcoming baby number four, I was completely astonished by having four children born on the same day,” the California resident told People. She said that all of her children had different due dates and that the births have been spontaneous natural births, none of them were inductions.

The one “sad” downside to this occurring, the odds of which are estimated to be in the millions, is that she missed another birthday party for her kids. “I promised them I [would] make it up to them!” the 26-year-old nursing student said. “It’s still surreal that they all share the same exact day for a birthday, so it’s like I have Christmas twice a year.”

Drake previously explained to local news outlet Victor Valley News, that the family celebrates one big birthday for all the kids but with individualized themes for each one.

Even rarer case of four siblings with same birthday

Drake isn’t the only mother of four children who share the same birthday but were born on different years. People interviewed Kristin Lammert from South Carolina who became a mother once again in August. Like her other three daughters Sophia, 9, Giuiliana, 6, and Mia, 3, Valentina was born on 25 August.

She claims that the probability of having four daughters all born on the same date is one in 1.285 billion.

The date is particularly special for her as it is the same date of birth as her dog that she had while growing up.
