How much is the Powerball jackpot now?

Before this weekend’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot had reached an estimated $216 million, with a $98.2 million cash option. But with no tickets scooping the grand prize, the top figure has rolled over once again, to an estimated $231 million ($105 million cash option). Amounts are pre-tax.

The next drawing is scheduled to take place at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT on Monday, April 6, 2026.

What are your odds of winning the Powerball jackpot?

Per Powerball organizers, a single ticket has a one in 292,201,338 chance of landing the jackpot. The $1 million second prize comes with odds of one in 11,688,053.52.

If you do win the jackpot, you have two options:

• An annuity payment spread over 30 annual instalments that grow each year.

• A lump-sum cash option, which is smaller but paid all at once.

While the jackpot often captures the headlines, there are also numerous smaller prizes. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many of the winning numbers a player matches. Players can multiply non-jackpot prizes by adding the Power Play option.
