Who won the Powerball jackpot?

After Wednesday’s Powerball drawing saw two tickets share an estimated $143 million jackpot - with a $65 million cash option - the grand prize was reset to $20 million on Saturday. The cash value was $9 million.

The new jackpot was immediately snapped up: a pair of tickets - one bought in Florida, the other in Texas - both matched all six numbers.

When is the next Powerball drawing?

The next drawing is at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT on Monday, May 4, 2026. The Powerball jackpot will again be $20 million, with a $9 cash option.

Per the lottery’s organizers, a single Powerball ticket - which can be purchased for $2 - brings with it a one-in-292,201,338 chance of landing the jackpot.

If you do win the pot, you are given two options:

• Receive the smaller, cash-option figure as an up-front, lump-sum payment

As there were two winning tickets on Saturday, their holders will each receive a 50% share of the advertized jackpot/cash-option figure, whichever option they choose.
