Before Wednesday’s Powerball drawing, the jackpot had risen to $327 million, with a $148.2 million cash option. However, for the 23nd straight drawing, no tickets matched all six numbers - five white balls plus the Powerball.
More money has now been added to the pot ahead of the next drawing: the top figure will be an estimated $348 million, with a $157.5 million cash value.
These figures are all pre-tax.

The next drawing takes place on Wednesday, June 24, at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT.

A single ticket, which costs $2, has a one-in-292,201,338 chance of a jackpot win, Powerball organizers say.
If you do land the jackpot, you have two options:
- Claim the total jackpot amount in growing annual instalments spread over 29 years
- Receive the smaller, cash-option figure as an up-front, lump-sum payment
What other prizes are up for grabs?
While the Powerball jackpot captures the headlines, there are also numerous smaller amounts to be won. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many winning numbers a player matches.
Non-jackpot prizes can be multiplied by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1.

When was the Powerball jackpot win?
The Powerball jackpot has remained unclaimed since May 2, when two tickets - bought in Florida and Texas - shared a $20 million top prize. It was the second successive drawing to see a double win: three days prior, a $143 million pot had been split by ticket holders in Indiana and Kansas.
