What are the winning numbers for Saturday’s $60 million Powerball jackpot?

Ahead of Saturday’s Powerball draw, the jackpot stood at an estimated $60 million, with a $30.4 million cash option.

No winning tickets - next draw on Monday

Powerball’s organisers have confirmed that there were no jackpot winners in Saturday’s draw, so the top prize has rolled over once more, to $74 million ($37.5 million cash option). The next draw takes place on Monday 31 July.

How to play Powerball

You can play Powerball in every US state except Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Nevada and Utah. A ticket costs $2.

Players must choose five numbers between 1 and 69, and an additional “Powerball” number between 1 and 26. To win the jackpot, all six numbers must match those that are drawn. Smaller prizes are also available if you correctly guess some, but not all, of the winning numbers.

Jackpot winners can choose to receive their money in 30 instalments over 29 years (the annuity option), or as a lump sum (the cash option). If you opt to be paid up front, you get a lower amount. All winnings are pre-tax amounts.

There are three Powerball draws a week, held at 10:59pm ET/7:59pm PT on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The jackpot grows after each draw if no winner takes home the grand prize.

Power Play and Double Play

If players pay $1 extra for Power Play, their winnings will be multiplied by two, three, four, five, or ten, depending on the multiplier number picked out of the hat before the draw takes place. Power Play isn’t applied to the jackpot, and the multiplier is never higher than two if you win the $1m second prize.

For an additional $1, a player’s numbers can also be entered into a second draw, known as Double Play, with a maximum jackpot of $10m.
