Authorities find no evidence of foul play

Police said that her injuries appeared as if she had taken a fall from an elevated place. They have ruled out foul play as the cause of the death so far, although they have not officially declared her death to be a suicide. Authorities are still investigating the matter.

Residents at the building have reported that the apartment building has features that prevent people from accidentally falling, including high railings and child-proof windows.

Page reportedly had an argument with husband about her drinking

Alina Page, a mother of two young children, reportedly had a big fight with her surgeon husband Brian Page shortly before she plunged to death, according to the New York Post.

The report indicated that Page fell from the rooftop terrace after her husband argued with her regarding her drinking habits. Mr. Page said he was not there when his wife took the fatal leap, and that he was devastated by his wife’s death. He said, “She was the love of my life, my soulmate,” per the Post.

Page was originally from Russia. She often posted photos on social media showing her smiling with her two children. Brian and Alina were 11 days away from celebrating their 16th anniversary when she died.
