What is Barron Trump’s education and what is his professional background?
Barron Trump rejected an invitation to serve as a delegate at the RNC convention. Where is he headed to college?
Barron Trump, 18, is one of the former president’s five children. The youngest of the group, he is the only child born to Donald Trump’s current wife, Melania Trump. The youngest Trump kid speaks Slovene, thanks to his mother. Barron turned eighteen on March 20 and is off to college, meaning if his father is elected in November, he is not likely to return to Washington with his parents this time.
The Republican Party in Florida announced earlier this year that the youngest Trump child would be named a delegate at the RNC Convention in Wisconsin this week. However, quickly after that announcement, the Office of the former First Lady, released a statement saying that her son would not take on this responsibility.
“While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments,” read the statement sent to the Daily Mail.
Where has Barron Trump been educated?
Much was made of Melania Trump’s decision to allow her son to finish his school year at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in 2017 after Donald Trump began his term in the White House. Tuition at the school is $64,990 for grades nine through eleven.
That summer, Melania and Barron joined their husband and father in Washington, DC, and he was enrolled in St. Andrew’s Episcopal School out in Potomac, Maryland. The school was also attended by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar and comedian and actress Whitney Cummings and costs slightly less than the Manhattan-based institution, with a year of high school costing $52,535
After leaving DC, Barron was enrolled by his parents at Oxbridge Academy, which is around a twenty-minute drive from Mar-a-Lago and costs around $41,500.
Where will Barron Trump go to college?
According to the family, Barron is set to graduate from high school later this month. However, no information has been released on where the youngest of the Trump kids will attend college. Newsweek reported in early May that Barron was “thinking about” following his father, Ivanka, Donald Trump Jr, and Tiffiny by attending the University of Pennsylvania. As of mid-July, no school has been confirmed.
