Key points of Project 2025: This is the plan for a conservative government in the USA
Project 2025 is made up of four pillars: a policy blueprint to follow for the next conservative mandate, the creation of a database to consider the civil servants who could serve in the next administration, training for said officials under the concept of “Presidential Administration Academy” and a playbook of actions to undertake during the first 180 days of government.
So far, the policy road map is the one that has attracted the most attention, since many of the proposals presented border on rightwing extremism.
Among the key points of Project 2025 are the restoration of the family as the centerpiece of American life; defend at all costs the sovereignty and borders of the country and greater restrictions on abortion to defend “God-given individual rights.”
It is also proposes dismantling the administrative state by eliminating some federal agencies with the aim of expanding presidential power. The text also includes proposals to make cuts in environmental policies, in addition to eliminating “woke” propaganda and suppressing certain terms such as “sexual orientation”, “diversity, equity and inclusion ”, “gender equality”, “abortion” and “reproductive rights”.
