Sour Patch Kids was the second favorite, with six states placing it in the number one spot. Coming in third place was Reese’s Cups, which five states ranked as their favorite candy. Honorable mention goes to Butterfinger and Hershey’s Mini Bars, which snatched the top spot in four states each.

And... what about candy corn?

Candy corn, the most iconic Halloween candy, was only ranked first in Utah. While a timeless reminder of the Halloween season, candy corn is polarizing. The candy did, however, receive the second place ranking in four states: Michigan, Maine, New Mexico, and North Dakota.
