What was posted on Donald Trump Jr.’s hacked Twitter account?
Those who follow Trump Jr on X, formerly Twitter, started their day aghast at reading a series of posts from his account, soon realizing he’d been hacked.
Donald Trump Jr’s Twitter, which now goes by the name of X, account began posting a series of bizarre messages early Wednesday. It soon became evident that his account had been hacked to the 10 million-plus who follow him and read his feed due to the eccentric posts on the social media platform owned by Elon Musk.
They included posts declaring that his father had died, and thus he would be running for president in 2024, using a racial slur against Biden and declaring that North Korea would be “smoked,” among other comments. It’s unclear if Eric Trump’s account was hacked too or if he was making light of his brother’s misfortune.
Be aware that the language used in some of the posts is of an offensive nature.
What was posted on Donald Trump Jr.’s hacked Twitter account?
The posts to Donald Trump Jr’s X account were removed from his feed around 9:04 am ET according to the The US Sun, within less than an hour of them being posted. The tweet that might have been taken for real at first and sent people scrambling to find more information had it not been followed by more outlandish tweets was the declaration that Trump senior had died.
“I’m sad to announce, my father Donald Trump has passed away. I will be running for president in 2024,” read the tweet.
That was followed by a post insulting President Biden using a racial slur. Also one claiming that Richard Heart, an enigmatic crypto-personality who has been charged by the SEC along with three unincorporated entities that he controls of conducting unregistered offerings of crypto asset securities as well as fraud and misappropriating at least $12 million in funds, “is innocent.”
That was followed by: “When I become president I am going to burn the SEC.” The hacker also posted “North Korea is about to get smoked” on Trump Jr’s account. Another simply said “Some interesting messages with Jeffrey Epstein.”
In another tweet that was wiped from Twitter, now known as X, the hacker claimed in Trump Jr’s name that the former president’s son had he had had sexual relations with Logan Paul’s wife. Eric Trump’s account posted a response to that saying “I don’t want @DonaldJTrumpJr to get his account back – this is too entertaining.”
That led to speculation that Eric too had been hacked. That message is no longer in his feed but a later one, again making light of the unfortunate situation for his brother says: “What was @donaldtrumpjr password? Don2024? 😋” which as of publication was still visible.
