Having your own social media platform, a huge following and a lot to say makes it pretty easy to get your message out to the world. And so, in the latest development at Twitter, Elon Musk posted to say what was coming up.

Twitter’s 1.5 billion deleted accounts

The entrepreneur had previously committed to cleaning up the platform and it would appear that this process has turned up around 1.5 billion accounts that have been deleted due to no user logging into them or tweeting from them.

And on the back of that, Musk has now said that the handle names of those accounts -- remembering that you cannot have two accounts with the same @name -- will be freed up for use.
