Fast food chains are trying to attract more customers to their branches with difficult-to-resist deals, after restaurant-goers were turned off by the soaring cost of dining out, even at casual dining establishments.

Burger King to accelerate their value meal promo
Wendy’s has already unveiled its $3 breakfast meals, and is offering its Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for only one cent in honor of National Hamburger Day from May 28 to June 2. This came in the wake of reports that McDonald’s was moving to launch a $5 meal to lure back clients after their higher-than-industry price increases resulted in lower sales for the first quarter of the year.
Burger King has thrown its crown into the ring and intends to get a jump on McDonald’s meal deal, and has announced it is bringing back their $5 Your Way Meal. According to a report by USA Today, BK will release their offer before McDonald’s does. The Golden Arches chain reportedly intends to launch their promo in late June.

What’s included in the Burger King $5 value meal?
The low-cost bundle at Burger King will give diners a choice between three sandwiches aside from chicken nuggets for the main event, and this will be accompanied by fries and a beverage. BK will also be offering the meal for several months, per USA Today, as compared to the four months that the McDonald’s offer is scheduled to last.
