There are still several months until Black Friday, the most important day of sales and offers of the year. However, if you want to save some money or are looking for something at a lower price, you don’t have to wait, as Prime Day, Amazon’s two-day sales marathon, is approaching.
Since 2015, Amazon has been hosting this annual sale extravaganza. Although it was originally a 24-hour sales event to celebrate Amazon’s 20th birthday, it became a version of Black Friday and thanks to its popularity, the sales marathon has become a 48-hour event.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2024?
Amazon announced that Prime Day 2024 will take place in July, but the exact dates have not been revealed. Generally, it takes place during the second week of July. Last year, it was held on July 11 and 12.
Although not all the offers are known yet, you can expect massive discounts on all Amazon items, such as Fire TV Sticks, Fire tablets, Fire TV and its line of smart devices. Great deals are also expected on other items from technology and home products to health, beauty, fashion, children's toys and more.
Prime Day will be available in Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and for the first time in Poland and Sweden.
Prime Day sale events were also held in India, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as in Egypt for the first time.

Is it necessary to have an Amazon Prime account for Prime Day? How much does it cost?
'Prime' refers to Amazon's subscription service, which offers fast, free delivery on millions of items, exclusive benefits and savings for eligible members. Offers are only available to Prime members, although Products will be available at their regular price for those without a membership.
If you are not yet an Amazon Prime member, you cannot participate in Prime Day. However, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial to take advantage of the discounts.
A monthly Prime membership costs $14.99 per month, but you can also purchase an annual membership for $139, saving yourself a couple Andrew Jackson’s and change.
