West Adams

This part of town has a crime rating of F in an analysis by law enforcement. West Adams is listed as one of the most dangerous places in Los Angeles, with the neighborhood’s overall crime rate exceeding the national average. Additionally, its violent crime rate is more than four times the national average.

Downtown

Downtown Los Angeles saw a significant 25% increase in reported violent crime since 2020. This translates to 45 reported violent crimes per thousand residents, while property crime increased by 57% last year. The authorities recommend not walking the streets late at night and making sure you move around with a companion.

Compton is located northeast of downtown Los Angeles and has gained notoriety for many decades as a dangerous area. A lot of crime occurs around Compton Boulevard and surrounding streets throughout the day. Traffic problems also contribute to car accidents, leading to injuries and even deaths.
