Where can I buy Subway’s sauces? Supermarkets where you can get the fast food retailer’s condiments

Lovers of Subway sauces can breathe a sigh of relief now that the condiments will be available at supermarkets across the US... but where will they be sold ?

Can’t get enough of Subway’s condiments? Want to have them on hand to make the perfect sandwich whenever you please? Well, if you answered yes to these questions, you are in luck.

The sandwich chain has parented with Walmart, Kroger, and Albertsons to begin selling their condiments on grocery store shelves across the country. When announcing the launch of the sauces as a standalone product to be sold in grocery stores across the country, Subway claimed that the proceeds would help fund their Fresh Start Scholarship program “that offers tuition assistance to [...] restaurant employees.” Each worker receives a $2,500 scholarship that can be used to fund their college, university, or vocational training.

Which sauces will be available for purchase?

Subway will release an initial line of sauces that includes the following:

  • Sweet Onion Teriyaki
  • Creamy Italian
  • Roasted Garlic
  • Baja Chipotle Sauce.

The variety pack that includes all four carries a hefty price tag of $42.99; each 16-ounce bottle costs more than $10. The sauces can also be purchased individually, each priced at $4.18. A glitch on the website may be pricing the variety pack at a much higher price point because, based on the cost of each unit, the high price point does not make sense when a customer could simply buy each sauce individually for less than half the price. Kroger and Albertsons do not have the products posted on their website.

Subway is teaming up with T. Marzetti Company, which also produces the famous Chick-fil-A sauce and brings experience in the specialty foods market. Carl Stealey, the president of T. Marzetti, described the partnership as an ‘honor’ and said that they hope they can support Subway in making produce that could be found in “kitchens across the country.” In this effort, the two companies also worked together to create a series of recipes using the sauces, including an “Asian Chicken Bowl” as well as a “Grilled Shrimp Salsa.”
