The issue of student loan forgiveness continues to be a contentious one, with the debt relief efforts of President Joe Biden government’s being thwarted at every turn.
To help lessen the financial burden caused by expensive college education on students and their families, some universities have begun to implement no-loan policies. Loan-free schools increasing in number
This loan-free policy is a welcome development for undergraduate students, especially since tuition and other fees at private national universities have leapt 132% over the past two decades, according to data from US News.
These schools that offer free tuition are encouraging low-income students to apply for college if they have excellent grades and extra-curricular activities, and not worry about how they will pay for their education.
About two dozen schools are offering to shoulder 100% of a student’s need for financial assistance to help keep tertiary education accessible, and also to help students avoid being overwhelmed by a mountain of debt after graduation.

Expenses exist despite ‘No-loan’ policy
