Who has hosted the 2024 White House Correspondents’ Dinner?

The annual event sees a comedian roast powerful politicians and media outlets and despite being an election year, no punches are pulled

The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is one of the annual events on the Washington DC calendar that is truly unmissable. This year sees Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost roast powerful politicians and media outlets and just because it is an election year, don’t expect punches to be pulled.

The so-called “Nerd Prom” has seen big Washington faces, such as SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher, Gayle King, Billy Porter, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Al Roker, Chris Pine, Senator Chuck Schumer of New York and many more arrive.

Other attendees are Molly Ringwald, Jon Hamm, Keri Russell, Rosario Dawson, Scarlett Johansson, Rachel Brosnahan, and Caitlyn Jenner.

A tradition since 1921, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner has been hosted by such great comedians as Bob Hope, George Carlin, Chevy Chase, RIch Little, Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien, Jon Stewart, Drew Carey, Stephen Colbert, Seth Meyers, an Trevor Noah.

Rules
