Brett Goldstein, the man behind Roy, is forty-two years old and was born into a Jewish family in London. During his youth, he was interested in film and even majored in film studies at the University of Warwick.
Throughout his career, Goldstein has dabbled in film, television, and theater. His first role was in a short film called My Rope, which was released in 2005. After moving over to TV in 2009, he received a role in “Derek” in 2012, which was written and directed by comedian Ricky Gervais.
