How to Check PREP in Real-Time
The Preliminary Electoral Results Program (PREP) 2024 for the presidential election can be consulted by municipality, section, and state at this LINK. It will begin operating from 8:00 PM (Central Mexico Time) today, Sunday, June 2.
Meanwhile, the results of the Quick Count will be announced shortly through a public message.
What Positions Are Being Elected in Mexico’s 2024 Elections?
- Presidency of the Republic (2024-2030):
- Senate of the Republic: 128 senatorial seats will be renewed, responsible for legislation, debate, and analysis of law initiatives. 64 by relative majority, 32 by First Minority, and 32 by proportional representation.
- Chamber of Deputies: 500 federal deputy seats will be renewed for a three-year term. 300 by relative majority and 200 by proportional representation.
- Governorships: Nine governorships will be renewed in the states of Mexico City, Chiapas, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Morelos, Puebla, Tabasco, Veracruz, and Yucatán.
- Municipalities: Leaders of the 16 boroughs of Mexico City will be renewed, as well as all local chambers in 31 entities of Mexico, except for Coahuila, including municipalities and municipal boards.
