At least six people were rushed to hospital after a mid-size air ambulance plane crashed shortly after take-off on Friday.

An air ambulance plane carrying a young female patient and five other passengers crashed shortly after taking off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport on Friday night. The plane ploughed into a row of houses, setting several of them ablaze.
According to Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, the six people on the plane were crew members, a pediatric patient, and the patient's escort. A spokesperson said the pediatric patient had just finished treatment in Philadelphia and was being taken back to Mexico. https://t.co/Fjs4OY5WVl

Mexican nationals onboard air ambulance that crash in Philadelphia
The Mexican government has confirmed that all those onboard were Mexican nationals but has yet to release their identities. It is believed that those onboard included two pilots, two doctors, a parient and her mother.
There were six casualties on the ground - all were treated in hospital, three have since been discharged and three remain in observation in a stable condition.
“At this time we cannot confirm any survivors,” a Jet Rescue Air Ambulance spokesman said.

The patient, a young girl who had been receiving medical treatment a life-threatening condition at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, was believed to be on her way home to Tijuana, Mexico with her mother, Jet Rescue Air Ambulance told CNN.
It is the second aviation accident in the United States in two days. On Thursday, a commercial American Airlines jet airliner collided with a US Army Black Hawk helicopter while attempting to land at Washington’s Ronald Reagan National Airport, killing all 67 passengers.
