The iPhone 15 is selling like hotcakes but not everyone is happy with the final product. In recent days, several people have reported that the latest model is heating up very quickly and they have to stop using it for several minutes to allow it to cool down.

Apple was able to find the problem; newly applications like Instagram and Uber are overheating the iPhone 15. The California company is working on modifying the latest operating system to prevent the problem.

“We have identified a few conditions which can cause iPhone to run warmer than expected,” Apple told CNN in a statement.

Overheating can occur with some recently updated third-party apps, causing them to “overload the system,” the company said.

For its part, Instagram had to quickly modify its social network application to prevent the new iPhone model from overheating. While Uber and Asphalt 9 also continue to work to solve the problem, according to Apple.

The thin titanium casing of the new iPhone 15 was initially thought to be the overheating problem, but Apple dismissed these speculations. It was also ruled out that it is due to the change in the charging cable for this new model to have a USB-C port, which was put in place to comply with a mandate issued by European regulators.
